Black Family Expo

The Black Family Wellness Expo is a signature community service initiative of the Bakersfield (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and health equity throughout Kern County. As part of a national initiative, the Expo brings together healthcare professionals, community organizations, wellness providers, and families to increase awareness, expand access to preventive health resources, and address health disparities affecting the Black community.

Through health screenings, educational presentations, wellness activities, and community partnerships, the Expo empowers individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about their health. By emphasizing prevention, education, and access to care, the Bakersfield Chapter continues its commitment to building healthier families and a stronger community.
